Experience A Science-Based Approach to Reading That Can Transform Even the Toughest Learners.
My Personal Journey with My Struggling Son
As a special education teacher, I worked with students facing a wide range of challenges: Dyslexia, ADHD, ODD, and more. While I tried various curriculums, few students made the progress I knew they were capable of. After five years, frustration set in—I wanted to do more but lacked the tools to unlock their potential.

Two pivotal events changed everything. I became the principal of Kayla's Children Centre, where I was now responsible for an entire school of struggling learners. Around the same time, my own son Zevi, child #4, showed signs of Dyslexia and was struggling to read. Despite my experience, I didn't have the answers.

Determined to find a solution, I dove into research and connected with experts. Eventually, a speech pathologist introduced me to the Orton-Gillingham approach. This structured, science-backed method transformed Zevi from a struggling reader to reading above grade level in less than a year.

Inspired by this success, I became OG certified and implemented the program at Kayla's. The results were incredible—students who had struggled for years began making real progress. Teachers felt empowered, parents were amazed, and most importantly, the students gained the confidence to succeed.

This experience ignited my mission: to help teachers and parents unlock the science of reading, because I believe every child can learn to read with the right approach. Through Literacy Decoded, I provide everything you need—no previous reading training is required, just a passion for helping struggling children learn to read and write.
