Lisa Gelberman is an Elementary School Principal, Literacy Consultant, Special Education Specialist, and Orton-Gillingham certified educator with 25 years of education experience.

Throughout her career, Lisa has worked alongside thousands of teachers and school leaders to strengthen reading instruction and improve outcomes for struggling readers. She created Literacy Decoded after seeing the same challenge repeatedly: schools have strong curricula, interventions, and committed teachers, but teachers don't always have the reading knowledge and implementation skills to drive strong reading outcomes.

Today, Lisa helps schools bridge the gap between curriculum and classroom implementation so teachers can turn strong programs into stronger reading results.
